DNA Genealogy and Your Brick Wall or New Discovery

DNA Genealogy – A Tool to Find your Missing Relatives.

I asked people Genealogisk forum  before if they knew about DNA in genealogy, but people didn’t know very much about it. So after many months, money, and DNA tests, I found some answers. The companies I dealt with would all ship to Denmark.

From some DNA clues and a family tree with excellent sources to get me started (name changes when they immigrated to the United States), I was able to find 120 relatives with almost about 5 references each. (A majority of those I found, but the clues got me started.).

I made a slide show for my blog and a class that I’m teaching that can help you along with other web-sites to use the DNA information. The U.S., the U.K., and Australia have taken the most DNA tests but the tests are available in most all of Europe.

Here is my link if anyone is interested. I would love more Danes to take the tests so we can connect our trees.  If anyone lives in my area, they are welcome to come to my class on October 30, 2016 at 6pm at the Mapleton Family History Center, 1215 N. 1000 W. Mapleton, Utah. (Enter on the Southwest corner of the building.)

I just finished the slide show today. I hope you like it.
